Barb MacDonald

1 - When did you join the PigDogs and why?

- I joined the Pigdogs after Paul Forest came into the PA gym and convinced
all of us eager high school girls to come out and play for the city. I
became a real PigDog once I realized what a family we are.

2 - What do you enjoy about Rugby?

- You can play a hard game and give it your all, and leave everything on the
field. Friendships are made, rugby is a life style not just a sport.

3 - Other clubs you've played for?

- U19 for Nova Scotia, NWL for Nova Scotia, Saint Mary's...I think that's all.

4 - What have been some of your highlights?

- Getting to the championship game last year against the Tars, Representing
the Dartmouth PigDogs in Toronto and Montreal with Sarah Lamb and Amanda
Campbell.

5 - What other sports do you play?

- I used to play basketball, but once rugby came along that was over.

6 - Who is your favorite PigDog?Dog?

- Kitch, but Sarah Lamb is my arch rival and one of my best friends.

7 - What's the best part about being a PigDog?

- Having a "reputation to live down to". We are a great team and we can beat
anyone in a boat race! But seriously, we are a family and we have grown
together as players and friends.

8 - Who is your favorite club to play against?

- Halifax. It's a good challenge. Plus they're fun to hang out with after the
game.

9 - What's your favorite PigDog event?

- Any Event with the Pigdogs is a good time.

10 - Where would you like to see the Pigdogs take a Road trip to?

- Scotland!

Anything you would like to add?

- I know there is a lack of Pirates and Dragons in this spotlight, but I
thought I'd go for touching instead of the usual.
