1 - When did you join the PigDogs and why?
- The 26th of
June, 2007. I was looking to travel, play rugby and have fun when I was playing
for Y.M.C.A. We had a team of mad Canadians over and I thought they drank like
fish. They played good hard rugby and it's bloody Canada, so they ticked all the
right boxes and here I am. I haven't been disappointed, I've been looked after
very well.
2 - What do you enjoy about Rugby?
- What's not to like about rugby? Unless you ask my knees!
3 - Other clubs you've played for?
- Lisburn U16,
U18, 1st 15, Ulster U18s,
Royal Irish Regiment, Y.M.C.A., and C.I.Y.M.S.
4 - What have been some of your highlights?
- Beating
Caledonia and the night out after that followed, and any time we beat those
cheatin' bastard Tars.
5 - What other sports do you play?
I surf, have been
know to play soccer now and again (don't tell anyone) and when my knee gets
better I'm going to start training for an Iron-man competition I plan on doing
when I get back home.
6 - Who is your favorite PigDog?Dog?
I
have a couple, Davin Moxson, just because he is as mad as a big bag of mad
things. Jon McKay, as we both share the same mental age of a 10 year old. Greg
Forrest, because he is not excitable at all. The world would be about to end and
all you would get from him is "oh ok". As
for the lady PigDogs, I love them all the same as they are all gods children.
7 - What's the best part about being a PigDog?
- The
drinking, the drinking, the laugh the team has together and did I mention the
drinking?
8 - Who is your favorite club to play against?
- I haven't been here long enough to build a grudge, but the #%@# Tars are as close as it gets.
9 - What's your favorite PigDog event?
- I
haven't been to many, but at Doolittle's after the semi final match against the
fcukin' Tars when we where all singing, playing around and having a really good
time. The Give-R was good time and I'm looking forward to the next one.
10 - Where would you like to see the Pigdogs take a Road trip to?
- It's not really a
road trip, but more of a flight to Bangor, Northern Ireland. To play against my
next club.
Anything you would like to add?
- I know I've only
been here a short while but a better bunch of lads there isn't. They always want
to improve themselves and I'm sorry I wasn't able to help them win the summer
play-offs. And, I'd like
to thank Kitch for putting up with me, giving me a place to stay and the
opportunity to play for the PigDogs.
