Nicole began her rugby career playing for Windsor Regional High School when it switched to Avonview. She was an original member of the Windsor Women's Rugby Club for it's one and only season.
She went on to play four years for St. Thomas University where she won a championship in her senior year. She played five years senior rugby for the Valley Tide before she moved to the city to attend Dalhousie University and joined forces with the PigDogs.
