Kass began playing rugby in grade 10 at West Kings in the Annapolis Valley. They won the Nova Scotia Provincial title her first year. She finished her high school career at Cole Harbour in Dartmouth before she went on to play for Saint Mary's University where they finished second in the Atlantic Conference.
The PigDogs is her first club team and they will be happy with her if she continues to brings the level of success she has brought to every team she has played on so far.
Kass won "Most Improved Player" for 2009
