Cody J. Davies A.K.A. - Floyd, "Bother" In Law Date of Birth - 18 April 1987 Home Town - Cayuga, Ont High School - Saltfleet DHS Began Playing Rugby 2001 Size - 6' 2" 225lbs Position - 8Man, Lock, Price Checker Cody began his rugby with Saltfleet High School in Ontario where they took their rugby very serious. This is what attracted him to the game and he still takes his game very serious. He experienced rugby at a high level when playing for Ontario and in the Super League. His first home club was the Stoney Creek Camels first division before he moved to Nova Scotia and teamed up with the PigDogs. Every club in Nova Scotia is expected to have at least one token Upper Canadian and since Stephen Harper was busy, we're stuck with him. While playing in Europe in 2005, he developed a rucking technique he calls the Flying Eagle. It's been compared to the famous wounded duck of the late 60's but he assures us it's an eagle and he's flying. In any case, he's very effective on the field and brings skill, experience and tenacity to the club. A very popular member of the club on and off the field and he fits right in with the social side when he's sharing a Molson or four with other PigDogs. Cody won Rookie of the Year in 2008.
