Barb was born to be an 8man. She demands your attention with her thunderous hits and pounding runs down the gut. She was born with cleats on ready to rumble. As serious a player that she is, Barb never forgets to have fun. She has earned the respect of all her team mates and demands the respect of all those who play against her.

Barb is one of the original members of the LPD and a great leader on and off the field. She has been voted the team captain each year the ladies have played. Barb also plays for Saint Mary's University in the fall.

She has won the Most Valuable Player award for the PigDogs in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009 and also played for the Nova Scotia U19 team. She leads by example and sets an example for all leaders.
