Home Town - Beaverbank, NS

High School - Lockview High

Amanda brings a calm and steady presence to the pack. She is not big on words, but big on actions. She is a very smart rugby player and knows how to position herself and readies herself for the next phase of action. She will never back down to the physical game and is very unselfish with the ball.

Amanda jumped from prop to Scrum half in 2009 and did an amazing job leading the team.

She won the Most Improved Player for the lady PigDogs in 2006 and Most Valuable Player in 2009. Amanda also played for St. FX University where she helped them win the CIS National Championship in 2006. The future of the Pigdogs remains bright with young players like Amanda in the lineup.
